We are seeking a dedicated and active SEN Support Worker to join our partner SEN School in Cambridge. This role is perfectly suited for someone who believes that education doesn't just happen at a desk-it happens in the kitchen, at the local shops, and on the bus. You will be working with young adults with Autism (ASC) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), focusing on the vital transition from school to independent living.
Job Responsibility:
Life Skills Coaching (meal preparation, laundry, personal organisation)
Community Outreach (road safety, public transport, small budgets)
Vocational Support (work-experience placements, workplace expectations, social cues)
Emotional Regulation (help manage anxiety or sensory overwhelm)
Physical Wellbeing (access local sports, parks, hydrotherapy)
Progress Reporting (maintain daily logs for EHCP reviews)
