Job Description:

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care? Our client's service is a specialist, community-based care home providing nursing support to individuals of all gender identities who are autistic, have a learning disability, and/or have additional complex physical or mental health needs. We are urgently seeking dedicated Agency Support Workers to provide consistent long day and night cover. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a supportive, structured service where your skills truly make a difference.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support individuals with their daily routines
  • Promote independence and empower service users
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Assist with personal care activities
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Follow care plans, safeguarding, and health & safety guidelines
  • Work flexibly across long day and night shifts as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6-12 months UK experience in a Support Worker role
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Ability to follow instructions and individual care plans
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts
  • Based in, or willing to work in, Workington, Cumbria
