Job Description:

Support Workers for individuals with complex behaviours in Sydney, NSW. Part-time and casual opportunities to make a meaningful difference, with Aruma championing diversity and inclusivity.

Job Responsibility:

Advocate for the rights, dignity, and equality of adults, young people, and children
ensure personalized support aligned with unique needs and aspirations
manage complex behaviours and understand PBSPs
implement and review tailored support plans
build strong relationships with clients, families, and community stakeholders
promote inclusion and independence

Requirements:

2 years' experience supporting participants with complex care needs
supporting participants from children, young people, and adults
passionate about human rights and driving positive change
empathetic, compassionate, and understanding of diverse experiences
excellent communication skills, with a focus on listening and responding to customer needs
team player, enthusiastic about collaboration and sharing best practices
willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (NDISWC clearance, Working with Vulnerable people, Working with Children clearance, First Aid & CPR, NDIS Orientation Module)
