Job Description:

As an Aged Care Support Worker with MedHire Hub, you’ll provide essential personal, emotional, and practical care to elderly clients in residential facilities or in their homes. You will play a key role in supporting their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Job Responsibility:

Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Support with mobility and transfers (e.g., using hoists or walking aids)
Prepare meals and assist with feeding as required
Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying
Provide companionship, emotional support, and community engagement
Monitor health and report any changes in the client’s condition
Follow individual care plans and work collaboratively with care coordinators
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and compliance standards

Requirements:

Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
Valid Police Check and Working with Children Check (if required)
Current First Aid & CPR certification
COVID-19 vaccination certificate (as per government guidelines)
Previous experience in aged care or community care preferred
Good communication, empathy, and time management skills
Australian work rights
