Job Description:

As a Support Worker at Affinity Trust, you will make a difference every day by supporting people to do the little and big things in life, encouraging and empowering people to live their lives the way they choose.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs with their everyday routines, which includes wellbeing and personal care
  • Encourage them to enjoy what they love (e.g., spending time in the garden, theatre trips, visits to church, pub meals, days out)
  • Support people to use a variety of communication methods and technology aids such as iPads

Requirements:

  • Ability to get to the location, as hard to reach using public transport
  • Ability to work flexibly across the week, including some weekends and some sleep-in shifts
  • Ability to get to the location as early as 7am and finishing again at 10pm
  • Enhanced DBS check (paid for by us)
