Job Description:

Support Worker role enhancing lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalized care and support tailored to their unique needs and goals. Role operates on rotating 24/7 roster including weekends and public holidays.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering high-quality support services to customers with disabilities
Assisting clients in daily living activities such as personal care, mobility, and skill development
Promoting community integration and supporting clients in accessing social and recreational activities
Collaborating with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized support plans
Encouraging independence and empowering clients to achieve personal goals
Advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities

Requirements:

Certificate IV in Disability preferred but not essential
Passionate about human rights and creating positive change
Empathetic and compassionate with understanding of diverse experiences
Excellent communication skills
Enthusiastic team player
Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements
Right to work in Australia

Nice to have:

Certificate IV in Disability
Experience working with individuals with disabilities
