Job Description:

Due to organisational growth, we are looking for Support Workers who share our vision to join an enthusiastic team at our Complex Needs Day Service in Stratford Upon Avon. You will support customers on a 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1 basis to access the community and to participate in activities they enjoy. In the centre you will support customers in a variety of sessions as well supporting with daily needs which will include assisting with personal care, eating and drinking and postural care. We have an extensive training programme in place to ensure that staff are supported to feel confident within their role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support customers on a 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1 basis to access the community
  • Support customers to participate in activities they enjoy (e.g., swimming, gym, working at a farm, tennis, riding accessible bikes)
  • Support customers in centre sessions (e.g., cooking, music, art, sensory story telling)
  • Support with daily needs including assisting with personal care, eating and drinking, and postural care
  • May need to travel to other services to support absence

Requirements:

  • Some previous care experience is preferred
  • full training will be provided
