Consensus is a community of amazing people dedicated to inspiring and empowering people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. This role is at Brighton Road, a friendly, happy home where there’s always something fun to do. Residents enjoy music, disco nights, BBQs, and bicycle rides. The role involves supporting residents to find their own hobbies and work towards their goals independently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help the people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities – empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with amazing experiences
  • Get involved in the community, support during leisure and social activities, and celebrate special occasions
  • Communicate appropriately, considering individual communication needs, and helping people to communicate effectively with others

Requirements:

  • May be new to care or have experience in the social care sector as Mental Health Support Worker, Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant
  • Values are most important
