Job Description:

Support Workers needed for Narrabri Home and Living Services. Casual position with potential to move to permanent part time. Work across a 24/7 rotating roster including sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays. Enhancing lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalised care and support tailored to their unique needs and goals.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering high-quality support services to customers with disabilities
Assisting clients in daily living activities such as personal care, mobility, and skill development
Promoting community integration and supporting clients in accessing social and recreational activities
Collaborating with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans
Encouraging independence and empowering clients to achieve personal goals
Advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities

Requirements:

Certificate III in Community Services or Equivalent ideal or willing to obtain
6 months experience required
High level of fitness for manual handling
Must be able to work nights
Must be able to work day shifts during the weekend
NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWSC)
Working With Child Check (WWCC)
Successfully complete NDIS Quality, Safety & You module
Current CPR and First Aid certificate
Full driver's licence
Valid work rights
