The role involves supporting individuals aged 55 to 90 with challenges including hearing impairment, autism and learning disabilities, in a setting where they live together well and engage in activities. The team works shifts (07.00-15.00, 15.00-21.00, 15.00-23.00, 15.00-07.00) with 24/7 staff, including a waking night shift. Requirements:
Recruited based on values
Professional experience in support worker or care assistant role is beneficial but not required
Lived experiences (friends/relatives with disabilities or cared for older relatives) is beneficial
No experience is also acceptable
Specialist training in autism, hearing impairment, dementia and learning disabilities will be provided
