Our supported accommodation service in Northampton offers short-term and 24-hour support for people who are experiencing, or at risk of, rough sleeping. We help individuals build independence, access the right support networks, and move on to sustainable housing. As part of a dedicated team, you will play a vital role in helping people improve their quality of life and move towards independent living.
Job Responsibility:
Exploring housing options and providing tenancy advice
Supporting access to benefits, employment, education, or training
Connecting individuals with food banks, mental health services, and substance misuse support
Developing budgeting and bill-paying skills
Supporting access to services that enable successful move-on
Encouraging connections with family, friends, and the local community
Requirements:
Experience supporting people in a supported accommodation setting, particularly those experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, or substance misuse
Ideally, experience in strength-based support planning
Treat each person with respect and as an individual
Be confident recording information accurately
Have basic IT skills (emails, case notes, etc.)
Be passionate about building relationships and supporting people to achieve outcomes
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable, but not essential
