This is a dynamic and hands-on opportunity to support 12 individuals aged between 21 and 72 with a range of complex needs including autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy, sensory communication, and mental health challenges, working day shifts (37.5hours a week). The service is vibrant, inclusive, and full of life. The people we support are proud of who they are — they love dancing, singing, socialising, and making the most of every day. You’ll be part of a large, well-trained team of around 50 Support Workers, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. The role involves supporting individuals with behaviours that may be emotionally or physically challenging, so resilience, confidence, and a calm approach are essential.
Job Responsibility
Support 12 individuals aged 21-72 with complex needs including autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy, sensory communication, and mental health challenges
Work day shifts (37.5 hours a week)
Spend entire shift directly supporting people, building meaningful relationships, helping them achieve personal goals
Requirements
Full UK manual driving licence
Experience with mental health, autism, and sensory communication highly desirable
Excellent social skills
