Support worker

• Promoting Independence: Assisting with daily life skills, from household tasks to accessing community activities
• Emotional Support: Building a trusting relationship and providing a stable environment
• Proactive De-escalation: Because the individual can become heightened, you must be confident in using de-escalation techniques to ensure safety and maintain a calm atmosphere

• Full-Time Availability: You must be able to commit to the client's rota needs, including weekends and sleep-ins
• Resilience: Experience in mental health or learning disabilities is highly preferred, particularly regarding de-escalation
• Compliance: You must have an up-to-date DBS and all right-to-work documentation ready for verification
• Character: We are looking for someone patient, observant, and genuinely passionate about person-centered care
