Job Description:

Creative Support is a national, fast-growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with diverse care needs. We are seeking warm and caring individuals to join our friendly staff team in South Shields, South Tyneside. In this role, you will support adults with learning disabilities to live full, fun, and active lives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing person-centred care and support to help clients reach personal goals
  • Assisting with personal care and medication
  • Attending appointments
  • Supporting with meal planning and preparation
  • Ensuring access to local activities and community participation, including trips out
  • Supporting events within services
  • Promoting local social opportunities

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years driving experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Skills in positive communication and engagement
  • Ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard
  • Ability to follow agreed guidelines
  • Ability to work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos
