This award winning day education centre is a specialist independent provision supporting learners with Autism and SEN needs. This is a young people and adults provision supporting learners from the age of 19 years of age. All therapies are done on site and every learner is offered an individualised education and care plan. The centres values are trust, empowerment and building confidence. This setting truly believes in every learner and strives to offer them the best education, life skills, work experience and support possible. This setting is seeking a Support Worker to join the team on a Part time basis (a minimum 3 days a week). This role is needed Monday-Friday 9-5pm. This role is needed all year round.
Job Responsibility:
Supporting learners on a 1:1 and small group basis
Supporting learners with severe and complex needs
Working with the teacher to support the learning objectives
Requirements:
Relevant teaching Assistant, childcare or adult care experience
Experience working or supporting young adults or children with SEN or personal experience with SEN (desirable)
