Job Description

As a Support Worker in Llantwit Major, you’ll help make the everyday remarkable for the people we support. We are dedicated to supporting those with learning disabilities to live a fulfilled and enriched life in the community, as a Support Worker, you can play a vital role in this.

Job Responsibility

  • providing care and support to four individuals in their own home, each with unique needs and personalities
  • supporting one person who experiences OCD and another who requires some personal care
  • help enhance well-being and create meaningful, positive experiences every day
  • helping them live fulfilling, independent, and enjoyable lives

Requirements

  • have patience and empathy
  • can support a person with their intimate personal care with respect and dignity
  • have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • are able to speak on behalf of others as well as to a range of professional people
  • have good written skills and the ability to record events with empathy and meaning
  • have a full driving licence - essential for transporting individuals to appointments and activities
