We are currently recruiting for Part Time Male Support Workers (16 hours per week) to join our independent living support team in Wick. You will be part of a team supporting a gentleman with an Acquired Brain Injury, Mental Health and Epilepsy to live independently in his own home.
Job Responsibility:
Supporting a gentleman with an Acquired Brain Injury, Mental Health and Epilepsy to live independently in his own home
Supporting with medication
Cooking
Assisting with personal care
Maintaining the homes of the people we support
Community involvement
Where appropriate supporting with finances
Supporting to maintain relationships with family and peers
Requirements:
Experience with Mental Health
Reliable
Motivated
Passionate
Eager to learn person centred routines and preferences
Patient
Understanding of individuals needs and behaviours
Comfortable with dogs
Driving licence and access to own vehicle for work
Male colleague required (genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
