Job Description:

We are looking for caring, energetic and motivated Support Workers to join our friendly team at Samphire House. You’ll play a key role in helping the people we support live their best lives - building confidence, developing life skills and achieving personal goals. You’ll receive full training and ongoing support from our experienced team, so whether you’re new to care or have experience, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in social care.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting individuals with daily living, including personal care, medication, meals, and household tasks
Encouraging independence and promoting choice
Supporting with social activities, appointments, and community engagement
Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively within the team
Acting as a positive role model and providing emotional support

Requirements:

IT literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel etc.)
Experience or interest in supporting people with learning disabilities or autism
Full UK driving licence and access to vehicle

Nice to have:

Care Certificate or NVQ in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards one)
Experience in residential or supported living care
