Supporting a lady who takes a great interest in animals, fashion, childrens magazines and all things pink & girlie. This person has autism, anorexia and mental health struggles. There is a history of challenges and risks associated with these conditions. Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this person’s life.
Job Responsibility:
Providing high-quality care on a 2:1 basis
Engaging with the individual in meaningful activities
Taking the individual out in the community to promote social interaction and well-being
Supporting with household tasks
Clear and confident communication in the individual's preferred manner
Requirements:
Previous experience with Autism
Previous experience with Mental health
Previous experience with Anorexia
Previous experience with Behaviours that can be perceived as challenging
Must be local to St Austell and know the area
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
Must be able to drive a car
