We are looking for warm, respectful and empathetic individuals to join our team in Linthorpe, providing person centred support to service users who have a learning disability, complex needs and challenging behaviour so that they can experience a range of opportunities for personal development and maximise quality of life.
Job Responsibility:
Providing support on an emotional and practical level with personal care needs, household tasks and medication
Collaborate with service users, their families and involved professionals to provide a consistent and coordinated approach
Support people to enjoy a wide range of activities within the home and the wider Linthorpe community
Carry out general administrative duties and housing management tasks
Requirements:
Skills in positive communication and engagement
Ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support
Confidence to work within a positive behaviour support framework
Ability to accept responsibility and develop as a skilled practitioner
Ability to follow agreed guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos
Must be located in and eligible to work within the UK
