Support Worker - Youth & Adult

• Emotional Support: building trust, modelling healthy communication, and helping clients regulate emotions
• Physical Support: ensuring safety, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining household routines and standards
• Social Support: promoting community involvement, cultural engagement, and positive relationship-building
• Maintaining cleanliness, planning routines, organizing activities, and modelling appropriate behaviour

• Strong documentation and computer skills
• Reliable transportation
• Basic First-Aid or WorkSafeBC recognized equivalent
• FOODSAFE Level 1
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License or equivalent
• Clean Driver’s Abstract
• Approved Sector Check
• Out-of-country Criminal Record Check (if candidate has lived outside of Canada for 6 continuous months in the past 5 years since turning 18)
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Diploma in Human Services, Social Sciences or related fields OR equivalent experience
