Job Responsibility:
Support clients with daily activities, hobbies, and community integration
Provide respectful and dignified personal care, including assistance with toileting
Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans
Foster a safe, positive, and empowering environment for all clients
Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential client records
Requirements:
Experience working with adults with autism and learning disabilities is desirable
Knowledge of care planning systems and keyworking principles
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong teamwork abilities and the capacity to use your own initiative
Good IT skills for documentation and record-keeping
A full, clean driving licence and access to a car
Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours
Ability to engage with, and build rapport with the students
Be creative, proactive and flexible in their supporting style
Have experience with SEND or knowledge learning difficulties
Patient, empathetic, and resilient
A professional and collaborative team member
SEN experience (able to provide personal care)
All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education's child protection and UK eligibility vetting including a DBS check and providing satisfactory references
A DBS on the update service would be a distinct advantage
