This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with school hours.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support clients with daily activities, hobbies, and community integration
  • Provide respectful and dignified personal care, including assistance with toileting
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans
  • Foster a safe, positive, and empowering environment for all clients
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential client records

Requirements:

  • Experience working with adults with autism and learning disabilities is desirable
  • Knowledge of care planning systems and keyworking principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong teamwork abilities and the capacity to use your own initiative
  • Good IT skills for documentation and record-keeping
  • A full, clean driving licence and access to a car
  • Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours
  • Ability to engage with, and build rapport with the students
  • Be creative, proactive and flexible in their supporting style
  • Have experience with SEND or knowledge learning difficulties
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • A professional and collaborative team member
  • SEN experience (able to provide personal care)
  • All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education's child protection and UK eligibility vetting including a DBS check and providing satisfactory references
  • A DBS on the update service would be a distinct advantage
