Are you an organised, proactive individual looking for a meaningful part-time role within the public sector? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker / Personal Assistant to provide essential administrative and organisational support within a professional government establishment in Portland. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured administrative work, thrives on helping others stay organised, and is confident managing multiple tasks with accuracy and professionalism.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing diaries and inboxes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Handling routine administrative tasks to support the wider team
  • Maintaining accurate filing systems and documentation
  • Responding to queries and directing them to the appropriate contacts where necessary
  • Supporting general office tasks to keep the establishment running efficiently

Requirements:

  • Confident communicating in English (Welsh where applicable)
  • Highly organised with strong admin skills
  • Able to work independently and manage their time effectively
  • A team player with a professional and friendly approach
  • Comfortable handling routine tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must undergo identity and security checks before starting
