Job Description

Join Paragon Home Healthcare and support a client living with a spinal cord injury (SCI). This role is centred around encouraging independence, building routine, and supporting access to the community, rather than purely task-based care. Full training is provided, with ongoing support from an experienced clinical and care team.

Job Responsibility

  • Support access to the community (walks, outings, appointments)
  • Encourage routine, structure, and independence
  • Provide support with personal care as required (while promoting independence)
  • Assist with mobility (walker, wheelchair, transfers)
  • Support general wellbeing and motivation
  • Help maintain a clean and organised home environment
  • Communicate effectively and maintain care records

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • References
  • Experience in care is preferred, and an interest in spinal cord injury support is beneficial
