Active Prospects is recruiting for Day Support Worker(s) to join our complex care service in Crawley, West Sussex. Three Bridges is a female only service for four ladies who require a wide range of support from emotional support, learning new coping mechanisms and finding their way into Adulthood. The role is about supporting people to lead a Gloriously ordinary life full of opportunity, fun and helping people to reach their goals and aspirations.
Job Responsibility:
Support people to lead a Gloriously ordinary life full of opportunity, fun and helping people to reach their goals and aspirations
Support the four ladies with emotional support, learning new coping mechanisms and finding their way into Adulthood
Be able to support our people to gain back their independence through empowerment, active support, positive risk-taking and out of the box thinking
Requirements:
Are you kind? compassionate and have a passion for empowering people to lead an aspiring life
Are you patient, resilient and able to bring calm and consistency to people who may be living independently for the first time
You will need to be adaptable, flexible, mature and be able to support our people to gain back their independence through empowerment, active support, positive risk-taking and out of the box thinking
The ideal people will have a passion for working with people with enduring mental health, a keen interest in the psychology behind complex behaviours that challenge and the willingness to learn and practice Positive Behaviour Support

Competitive rate of pay of £13.60 per hour
