Job Description:

Active Prospects is recruiting for Day Support Worker(s) to join our complex care service in Crawley, West Sussex. Three Bridges is a female only service for four ladies who require a wide range of support from emotional support, learning new coping mechanisms and finding their way into Adulthood. The role is about supporting people to lead a Gloriously ordinary life full of opportunity, fun and helping people to reach their goals and aspirations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support people to lead a Gloriously ordinary life full of opportunity, fun and helping people to reach their goals and aspirations
  • Support the four ladies with emotional support, learning new coping mechanisms and finding their way into Adulthood
  • Be able to support our people to gain back their independence through empowerment, active support, positive risk-taking and out of the box thinking

Requirements:

  • Are you kind? compassionate and have a passion for empowering people to lead an aspiring life
  • Are you patient, resilient and able to bring calm and consistency to people who may be living independently for the first time
  • You will need to be adaptable, flexible, mature and be able to support our people to gain back their independence through empowerment, active support, positive risk-taking and out of the box thinking
  • The ideal people will have a passion for working with people with enduring mental health, a keen interest in the psychology behind complex behaviours that challenge and the willingness to learn and practice Positive Behaviour Support
