Job Description:

Male Waking Night Support Worker in Peterborough. Ontario Court is a charming building in the heart of Peterborough. This residential service has been designed to support eight adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, as well as those who may have experienced previous placement breakdowns. At Precious, we work by empowering individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Conditions, and other complex needs, to live as independently as possible, to become integral members of the community and to achieve their goals and aspirations through individual care pathways. Exempt from Equality Act 2010. Any successful candidates will be required to undergo a enhanced DBS check.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
  • Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities
  • Assisting with the development of person centred plans
  • This includes employment, education and other opportunities
  • Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments
  • Providing personal care where needed
  • Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development

Requirements:

1 year's experience in an Autism or Learning Disabilities setting
