A great opportunity to join our small team at our Supported Living Service in Sheffield, S5. This vacancy is for 30hrs per week. Shift patterns - 07.30am to 3.00pm, 3pm to 10pm, Sleep-In 10pm to 07.30am. Applicants must be Female and able to commit to the Sleep-In. This is a lone-working Service, so ideally we would prefer applicants to have some experience of Supported Living. Who you'll be supporting: I am female, aged 52, I live in my own house, with support. I have Autism, Epilepsy and need support to keep my mental health stable. I find change difficult and need my support staff to be friendly, patient and understanding especially if I get upset. When my Mental Health is low I struggle to do daily activities so need you to be extra patient. My staff are trained in Autism, Learning Disability, Positive Behaviour Support, Mental Health and Epilepsy. As well as many other mandatory training requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Support a 52-year-old female with Autism, Epilepsy and mental health needs
Work a variety of shifts between 7am and 10pm
Perform sleep-in shifts from 10pm to 07.30am
Provide 1-1 support 24/7
Support with daily activities, shopping, evening clubs, and maintaining home
Adapt to the person's mood
Be patient and calm in a crisis, especially if the person has a seizure
