Job Description

Female Waking Night Support Worker for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Learning Disabilities, some of whom may present challenging behaviour. The role involves enabling individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations through individual care pathways.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
  • Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities
  • Assisting with the development of person centred plans
  • Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments
  • Providing personal care where needed
  • Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development

Requirements

  • 12 months experience supporting those with Autism and Complex needs
  • Strong values
  • Energetic
  • Real passion to enable individuals
  • Ability to undergo an enhanced DBS check
