As a Driver Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting adults with learning disabilities who attend our Day Centre. Your day-to-day role will include: Safely collecting and returning individuals between home and the Day Centre; Supporting people to participate in a range of community and centre-based activities; Encouraging and enabling people to engage in meaningful experiences; Assisting with personal care where required; Keeping accurate vehicle and service user records; Carrying out routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance; Working flexibly as part of a friendly, supportive team

Requirements:
Hold a current, valid UK manual driving licence
Have at least 5 years' driving experience
Be capable of carrying out basic vehicle checks and maintenance
Feel confident driving a 15-seater minibus
Be able to maintain accurate transport and user records
A positive attitude to supporting the development of people with learning disabilities
The ability to take responsibility
Good communication skills
