Job Description

SIS have exciting opportunities for Support Workers to form part of a multi-disciplinary team in Macclesfield. A brand-new service where you will support the more complex client group in a specialist, bespoke development. The service is aimed to support individuals who have long stay admissions in secure environments, rehabilitation units, forensic units and out of area placements. This may be their first opportunity to live semi-independently and develop independent living skills.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide support to individuals with enhanced complex mental health needs
  • Proactively manage challenging behaviours with individuals who have forensic needs and increased risks
  • Promote and follow a PBS model approach
  • Help improve people’s lives and build an excellent team around the service

Requirements

  • Level 2 health & social care qualification or willing to work towards this
  • Experience of complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours
  • People that are enthusiastic about making a difference
  • Self-motivated, empathetic, dynamic, and creative within the care sector
  • Subject to safer recruitment processes and an Enhanced DBS check
