Job Description:

Become a Support Worker with Active Prospects for an Adult Complex Care Service. The service is for 4 people requiring a wide range of support. The role can be tough, but the rewards outweigh.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide 1:1 support during the day
  • Provide shared support day and night
  • Support people with emotional support
  • Support people in learning new coping mechanisms
  • Support people in being able to express their true selves
  • Support people who may self-harm, have anxiety or on occasion show behaviours of concern

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with people with enduring mental health
  • Keen interest in the psychology behind complex behaviours that challenge
  • Willingness to learn and practice Positive Behaviour Support
  • Adaptable
  • Flexible
  • Mature
  • Able to support people to gain back their independence through empowerment, active support, positive risk-taking and out of the box thinking
