Support Worker - Complex Care

Active Prospects is a not-for-profit care provider supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autistic people and physical disabilities. Our mission is to help people to live full and aspiring lives. Each year, we support over 300 people across various residential and support living services in Surrey, West Sussex and Brighton & Hove. At present all the people we support have several hours of 1:1 support during the day as well as some shared support day and night. The ideal people will have a passion for working with people with enduring mental health, a keen interest in the psychology behind complex behaviours that challenge and the willingness to learn and practice Positive Behaviour Support It's important to note that some people being supported may self-harm, have anxiety or on occasion show behaviours of concern.
