Requirements

A minimum of 6 month's paid experience in a children's residential home (within the last 3 years)
A full UK driving licence and access to your own car
Full right to work in the UK
An enhanced DBS (or be willing to get one)
A valid overseas police certificate (if you've lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the last 5 years)

Job Responsibility

Delivering outstanding daily care and support to children within a residential setting
Confidently managing and defusing challenging incidents with a calm, professional approach
Making decisive, appropriate decisions that protect the welfare of young people
Building rapport and trust with young people through creative, positive engagement
Maintaining accurate, high-quality daily records and incident reports
Working collaboratively with your team and external professionals to implement care plans
Demonstrating strong professional boundaries and sound judgement in all situations

Understanding of safeguarding, mental health, and trauma-informed care
