Located in Toowoomba, and reporting to the Support Manager or Service Leader, you will work within the Purpose and Values of Aruma. You will be part of a high performing Support Team working towards delivering a positive customer experience to those in our care. We have several casual opportunities available with conversion to permanent for the right candidates.
Job Responsibility:
Provide direct care within a residential setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing home-like environment and promoting positive family relationships
You will have resilience to work within a trauma-informed framework that makes a real difference with young people who have complex needs and challenging behaviours
Requirements:
Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent or working towards
Valid Australian full driver’s licence, for the state you have applied for
Valid Australian working rights
Willingness to complete a Child Safety and Personal Screening Check
Hold (or are willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid and CPR qualifications
Availability to work any rostered shifts across a 24/7 roster model, including awake nights and sleepovers
