Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable adults with complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to join our incredible Residential Service, in New Mills, High Peak!

Job Responsibility

  • Providing emotional and practical support that empowers people to achieve their personal goals
  • Supporting individuals to access their community, take part in local activities, and build social connections
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as medication, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining accurate records
  • Encouraging independence by helping people develop new skills and pursue hobbies or interests
  • Building trusting relationships to improve wellbeing and quality of life

Requirements

  • Experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities, mental health conditions, complex needs, and challenging behaviours
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and flexibility
  • IT literacy and a proactive “can-do” attitude
  • A compassionate heart and a passion for making a real difference
