Job Responsibility

Undertaking comprehensive assessments of individual needs and strengths
Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with individuals, their families, and other professionals
Safeguarding vulnerable adults and ensuring their well-being
Providing advice, advocacy, and support to individuals and their carers
Working in partnership with a range of agencies, including health, education, and housing providers

Requirements

Professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with adults or young people with disabilities
An interest in special educational needs, specifically autism, and a willingness to learn more about how to best support adult learners
Comfort and confidence in working with individuals who may exhibit challenging behaviour, with the ability to keep calm in high-pressure situations
