Are you looking for a rewarding career where you can truly make a difference every day? We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team in the beautiful village of Cranleigh, Surrey. In this role, you will be supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities to live as independently as possible. No two days are the same-you might be helping someone manage their daily routine, teaching life skills, or accompanying them out into the community for activities, hobbies, and shopping.

Job Responsibility

  • Person-Centered Support: Empower individuals to achieve their personal goals, build independence, and develop life skills
  • Daily Living Assistance: Support with meal preparation, light domestic duties, and managing schedules
  • Personal Care: Provide respectful and dignified assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene management
  • Community Engagement: Accompany individuals on outings, social events, medical appointments, and recreational activities
  • Emotional & Behavioral Support: Provide a calm, reassuring presence and use positive behavior support strategies to help individuals manage anxieties or challenging moments

Requirements

  • A Caring Nature: Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others
  • Great Communication: Ability to connect with individuals who may communicate in non-verbal or unique ways
  • Resilience & Reliability: A positive 'can-do' attitude and a dependable approach to work
  • Experience: Previous experience in care or supporting individuals with autism/learning disabilities is highly desirable
  • Driver (Preferred): Due to our location in Cranleigh and community outings, a valid UK driving license is highly beneficial

What we offer

  • Competitive Pay
  • Work-Life Balance: Flexible shift patterns to fit your lifestyle
  • Supportive Environment: A welcoming team and 24/7 management support
  • Rewarding Work: The chance to build meaningful relationships and see the direct, positive impact of your care
