Being a Support Worker at Holly Court is a varied, exciting, and rewarding role. All of our services are unique, being tailored to suit the needs of adults and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities and physical disabilities, and our teams work hard to ensure that the standards of care and support are consistent and of high quality. No two days are the same at Holly Court, but the role will include supporting with activities, personal care, eating and drinking, supporting and helping with health care needs, including routine checks, attending appointments and social engagements, clinical support in administrating medication and Gastronomy care. Encouraging and supporting the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests. Our new digital systems provide staff with more time to engage with the adults and young people, ensuring we capture all the great work we do.
Job Responsibility
Supporting with meals and drinks, and to help them to get excited about being involved in cooking and baking
Helping with their personal care, including bathing and showering, so they look and feel great
Engaging in meaningful activities both at home and out in the community – such as the cinema or bowling
