Requirements

Minimum 1 years’ experience supporting individuals with complex care needs in a home care, community, or residential setting
Experience supporting individuals with conditions such as brain injury, spinal cord injury, tracheostomy care, ventilation support, and PEG feeding
Strong understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, dignity, and promoting independence
Confident in delivering personal care, moving and handling, and following detailed care plans and clinical protocols
Excellent communication, observation, and teamwork skills with the ability to respond calmly in challenging situations
Compassionate, reliable, and able to build positive relationships with service users, families, and healthcare professionals
Must drive and have business insurance

Job Responsibility

Assist with personal care including washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care while promoting dignity and independence
Provide safe moving and handling support using appropriate equipment and techniques
Support with medication administration in line with care plans and company policies
Carry out clinical interventions following specialist training and competency assessments, including: Trachestomy care and suctioning
Ventilatr monitoring and support
PEG feeding and medicatin administration
Mnitoring observations and reporting concerns
Observe and report changes in an individual’s physical, emotional, or mental wellbeing
Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records, incident reports, and daily documentation ensuring safeguarding procedures are following and reporting any concerns or changes appropriately
Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams

Job Responsibility
