Job Description

As a Support Tech II, you will join a dynamic team of the company's winning culture by supporting the Mercury Marine values through the production of high quality inboard and outboard marine engines. The job class includes a variety of roles: operating a forklift supporting various manufacturing operations, lineside delivery roles, and warehouse roles including receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Operating a forklift supporting various manufacturing operations (machining, coating, assembly, shipping, receiving, and warehouse)
  • Lineside delivery of small parts to the point of use on assembly lines
  • Warehouse roles including receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations
  • Indirect support of manufacturing operations for large and small part replenishment
  • Participate in daily 5S+1 activities maintaining a clean and organized work area

Requirements

  • Ability to drive material delivery equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • General computer skills
  • Prior forklift experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required
  • Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not required
  • Prior experience using a Kanban delivery system is a plus but not required
