Job Responsibility:

  • Develop solutions for complex network, desktop, and server problems
  • Analyze existing systems and make proactive recommendations for improvements
  • Develop, maintain, and implement all systems, applications, and networking configurations
  • Strictly adhere to defined processes and standard operating procedures
  • May require participation in on-call technical support rotation
  • Troubleshoots network performance
  • Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment
  • Ability to compose, read, interpret and edit complex documents and correspondence and relate information to stakeholders
  • Communicate positively, professionally, and effectively to all customers, both verbally and in writing
  • Accurately proofread numerical and text data
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree majoring in IT disciplines (non-degree holders with significant experience will also be considered)
  • Preferably with 10 or more years of recent computer, server, and network troubleshooting experience
  • Effective customer service skills, strong oral and written communication in English
  • Chinese Mandarin & other languages are an added advantage
  • Must be resourceful and able to take initiative in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing 24x7x365 support
  • Advanced knowledge of current Microsoft desktop and server operating systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Exchange, SharePoint and other server applications
  • Physically and mentally fit, amenable to work on a night shift schedule
