Job Description

The Support Services Material Handler is Cross-trained to perform a variety of MH and QA jobs within the plant. Flexible to with the ability to transfer to other departments as required Typically provides coverage for vacation and short term illness.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform all functions for a number of the following positions: Viaflex Pack MH, Sterilizer Operator, Warehouse MH, Bliss MH, Overpouch MH, Concentrates MH
  • Perform Rework/Re inspection as required Follow instructions on Product Retention to rework product including inspect, re-carton, label, and palletize
  • Typically provides coverage for vacation and short term illness
  • Also responsible for washing parts and performing rework as required
  • Learn, understand and apply thorough quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur
  • Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass the ERGO testing due to the physical nature of the job
  • Successful completion of High School diploma or GED required (Proof will be requested)
  • Experience doing repetitive tasks
  • Fast-paced environment, high pressure
  • Ability to work in noisy and warm, wet conditions

  • Must pass ergonomic assessment to ensure ability to perform bonafide essential job duties
