Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Support Project Manager/Lead to oversee multiple projects within the application development domain. This long-term contract role is based in Houston, Texas, and requires someone who can efficiently manage sensitive initiatives impacting a large user base. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, adaptability to various methodologies, and a focus on optimizing tools and processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a portfolio of projects, typically handling several simultaneously, from initial requirements gathering through completion
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including a Cyber Security team of 25-30 members, to ensure project goals align with organizational objectives
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, utilizing Agile or Waterfall methodologies tailored to the project and audience
  • Ensure thorough documentation is maintained for all projects to support transparency and accountability
  • Optimize project tools and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards
  • Facilitate communication between teams to address sensitive issues affecting end users, sales, and other critical areas
  • Stay updated on the latest project management tools and trends to continually improve workflows
  • Report on project outcomes and performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and the ability to adapt approaches based on project needs

  • Background in Cyber Security or experience managing projects in this domain is preferred
