Our team is expanding in Paisley! If you share our values and want to make a real difference, then we want to hear from you! We have an exciting new service supporting individuals in their own homes and we're on the lookout for compassionate and creative individuals with a positive attitude to join them as Support Practitioners on a full-time, permanent basis. You don't need experience in care to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We’ll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Support Practitioner including a fully funded SVQ.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting with daily living tasks including meal preparation, medication management, attending appointments and activities, handling personal finances, and personal care
  • Offer emotional guidance and help individuals maintain meaningful relationships with their family and friends
  • Support the individuals on an outcome-based programme which will see them grow in confidence and learn life skills to increase their independence
  • Take an active interest in their hobbies with include going out for walks and to their social clubs, volunteering and shopping
  • Enable the individuals to explore new opportunities and reduce social isolation

Requirements:

  • Have an empathetic and caring nature
  • Good observation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence in using computers
  • Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own
  • Good organisational skills

Nice to have:

Full UK, manual driving licence with a minimum of 1 years’ driving experience
