Job Description

Looking for a role that's more than your average 9-5, and packed with job satisfaction? Then this could be for you! Our fabulous team in Paisley are on the lookout for compassionate and creative individuals with a positive attitude to join them as Support Practitioners on a full-time, permanent basis (39 hours per week). You don't need experience in care to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We’ll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Support Practitioner including a fully funded SVQ.

Job Responsibility

  • Assisting with daily living tasks including meal preparation, medication management, attending appointments and activities, handling personal finances, and personal care
  • Offering emotional guidance and helping individuals maintain meaningful relationships with their family and friends
  • Supporting individuals on an outcome-based programme to grow in confidence and learn life skills
  • Taking an active interest in their hobbies including going out for walks and to their social clubs, volunteering and shopping

Requirements

  • Have an empathetic and caring nature
  • Good observation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence in using computers
  • Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own
  • Good organisational skills
