Job Description

We are looking for a Murex Support / DevOps Engineer to support critical Front Office and Middle Office trading applications within a fast-paced Capital Markets environment. The role combines production support, release management, automation, and close interaction with trading and business teams. The ideal candidate has strong experience supporting Murex platforms in derivatives environments and is comfortable operating within global production ecosystems.

Job Responsibility

  • Support Front Office and Middle Office trading applications in production environments
  • Manage software releases, deployments, configuration, and platform maintenance
  • Troubleshoot technical and functional production issues across global applications and infrastructure
  • Develop and enhance Murex functionalities and automation tools
  • Build real-time monitoring tools, scripts, and operational reporting solutions
  • Collaborate with global development and support teams in a follow-the-sun model
  • Ensure platform stability, performance, and high-quality releases
  • Interact directly with traders, support teams, and business stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and DevOps practices

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Investment Banking and Capital Markets activities
  • Experience within Cleared OTC environments (CCPs, Clearing Brokers, Regulators, Clients)
  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets and derivatives products: Interest Rate Derivatives, FX Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Bonds
  • Knowledge of risk metrics such as DV01, CS01, etc.
  • Strong experience with UNIX/Linux environments and Shell scripting
  • Strong SQL skills with relational and non-relational databases
  • Hands-on experience with Murex 3.1.x and Bloomberg
  • Experience with XML / XSL / MXML
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD environments
  • Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps tooling
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence
