Job Description:

The Services TPM BAO Support Manager will play a key role in developing and executing the Services BAO support team. This includes supporting Business Activity Owners (BAOs) across clusters to complete all required Third Party Management activities. The role promotes a globally consistent approach to third party management policy and involves a mix of operational support, process guidance, quality assurance, and risk management throughout the TPM lifecycle.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accountable for the overall management of all Services BAO Support activities globally
  • provide thought leadership to drive efficient BAO support role activities
  • drive operational performance and deliver timely and quality-driven results
  • implement desktop guidelines or procedures
  • conduct regular cadence of staff and 1:1 meetings
  • ensure that staff has clear goals and expectations with regards to the results by which they will be measured
  • actively monitor and assess staff’s development needs, implementing required training and development opportunities
  • perform BAO support activities focused on higher risk third parties
  • work with Business Activity Owners and Third Party Officers on key controls, standard processes, operating procedures, and compliance with procedures
  • support reporting activities
  • monitor progress on remediation activities
  • facilitate and coordinate with SMEs to complete due diligence or ongoing monitoring activities
  • engage with Payments and Investor and Issuer Services teams to share results
  • proactively engage with other teams and promote awareness of controls

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • related experience in vendor management, third party risk, or risk and control functions
  • strong knowledge of third party management requirements
  • program/project management experience a plus
  • ability to work effectively and drive results with a virtual global team
  • strong experience in analytics and problem solving
  • proficient in MS Suite of application, specifically proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • global mindset and proven record of leadership experience in third party management
  • proficient with business control and compliance frameworks for financial institutions
  • self-driven in utilizing resources, expanding expertise to build team knowledge
  • able to build a team and process from ground up
  • detail oriented and able to effectively manage and track large portfolio of activities
  • excellent influential skills
  • the ability to effectively manage and navigate through multi-faceted disciplines throughout the organization
  • self-starter with a track record of building and leading teams and executing implementation
  • executive presence: ability to have voice heard
  • excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
