We’re looking for a Support At Home Coordinator to play a vital role in delivering a high-quality, responsive service that supports older people with everyday tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and attending appointments, helping them stay safe, independent, and connected to their communities.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and manage staff rotas to ensure reliable, efficient service delivery
Match Support At Home Workers to service users based on needs, preferences, and location
Act as the main point of contact for staff, service users, and families
Support, motivate, and guide a team of Support At Home Workers
Monitor service quality and ensure high standards are maintained
Respond to changes, escalations, or concerns in a timely and compassionate way
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to support service user wellbeing
Manage continuous development of the service in your area and maintain service standards ensuring quality and long-term sustainability
Requirements:
Experienced in coordinating or managing staff or services
Understanding of the needs of older or vulnerable people
Highly organised with excellent coordination and planning skills
A confident communicator who builds positive relationships easily
Compassionate, with a genuine passion for supporting older people
Able to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing demands
Experienced in a care, support, or community services environment (desirable)
Comfortable using IT systems for scheduling and record-keeping
