Job Description

A long-standing Rock Island company is looking for a reliable and energetic Support Associate to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who likes a mix of customer interaction, office tasks, and light physical work throughout the day. If you enjoy staying busy and being cross-trained in several areas, this could be a great fit.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the first point of contact for walk‑in customers
  • Manage incoming calls, especially during peak seasonal periods
  • Process payments and enter transactions into internal systems
  • Assist with organizing paperwork, labeling files, and maintaining records
  • Reach out to customers with updates, reminders, and scheduling details
  • Create order documentation, including work orders and invoices
  • Help tidy and restock products to maintain an orderly workspace

Requirements

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable navigating Excel and Word
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs when needed
  • Professional, friendly customer service skills — in person and over the phone
  • Dependable follow‑through and ability to complete tasks fully
  • Clear communication and willingness to ask questions to stay aligned
