Supply Teaching Assistant

• Provide targeted in-class support to Year 6 pupils during core lessons
• Assist with group interventions focused on reading, writing, and maths
• Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and readiness to learn
• Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Work closely with the class teacher to adapt tasks and scaffold learning
• Contribute to a positive and focused classroom environment
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding procedures at all times

• Experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
• A calm, nurturing, and flexible approach
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• A good understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation (desirable)
• A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and eligibility to work in the UK
