Job Description:

Are you experienced in the classroom environment? Seeking a term-time role? Proficient in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We have an exciting opportunity for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant position at a primary school in,Tadworth If this role resonates with you, please read on! This particular role involves working closely on a 1:1 basis with a child requiring SEN support. The ideal candidate will boast experience in SEN or possess extensive primary school experience. The full-time role commences in January 2024 on an ongoing basis.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the teacher in organising and delivering effective lessons
  • Assist in managing behavioural needs
  • Aid children in learning within classroom and community settings
  • Work both on a 1-2-1 and whole class basis with students

Requirements:

  • 2 references from the last 5 years (including a full child-based safeguarding reference)
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Knowledge of the Primary curriculum
  • Experience in primary or SEN school settings
